I was fortunate to stumble upon this gem of accommodation within the Byron Shire and also for them to accommodate me at late notice on a Sunday afternoon.
Whilst in the Byron area for work, I found The Figs. Staying in the 1 bedroom apartment with atrium style spiral staircase for 2 nights.
Room facilities were very very well presented from a functional kitchen with coffee maker, lounge dining room with television to a relaxing and comfortable King Size bed on the top floor. Impeccably clean and with anything/everything one would need.
Wonderful property. Excellent facilities both in room and across property. Including marvellous pool. Tranquil settings on the hills above Mullum, Byron and Bruns. Quiet, yet convenient. to everything.
Very professional and sophisticated, yet down to earth owner/operators. People who convey, in a business, what one would envisage (and should be proud of) the personality of the area.

The only concern I could have would be sharing how much of a gem The Figs is, and letting the secret out!

We stayed for 2 nights and this place was honestly amazing! Mountain View’s one side and sea the other. The host there was wonderful and as no one else there gave us a larger room! Only 15 minutes to Byron. The actual stay is really relaxing and beautiful!!

Dream Wedding Venue

'We got married at The Figs with 110 of our friends and family there to celebrate with us. 10 of our family stayed in the apartments and 6 stayed in the cottage. They all had the the most wonderful 3 days staying on one of the most beautiful properties in the area, strolling the gardens, swimming in the magnificent pool looking out over the mountains and enjoying great sleeps in such comfortable beds. The wedding couldn’t have been more perfect, everything was set up as a blank canvas for us to create our dream day. Alison & Peter bent over backwards to be so helpful with absolutely everything. All of our guests had the most wonderful day/ night & many said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever been to. From our ceremony under the ancient fig tree, to afternoon drinks in the timber gazebo, to dinner in the clear marquee we hired, wanders in the amazing gardens and dancing in the timber gazebo later on. We had a recovery lunch with the family the next day utilising the bbq facilities by the pool which was a beautiful way to wind up the festivities. The whole weekend so went smoothly and my only wish is that we could do it all again!! Thank you Alison & Peter for giving us such a dreamy place to tie the knot. Justine & Alex'

This place is heaven on earth. The ideal getaway location if you’re after a quiet peaceful holiday/accommodation with fabulous views. Spent two nights here last weekend and I’ve extremely enjoyed my stay here, whence I'll recommend this getaway place to family and friend!

"The Figs Byron was the perfect place to host our wedding ceremony and celebratory drinks. We were privileged enough to be the first wedding to be held at the venue! However you would never know it as everything ran completely smoothly and went wonderfully, no hiccups at all for a first run. The venue itself is breath taking. We held our ceremony in the garden area in front of their 300 year old fig tree. This was a very intimate setting, like a secret tropical garden oasis. After the ceremony we popped some champagne and had a toast with all our guests in their beautiful wooden gazebo over looking the epic view of Mount Warning. It was perfect being able to have 2 different settings for our guests to experience. The owners Alison and Peter were very helpful and quick to respond to all my questions during the planning process. " Kate P.

Wonderful digs in a beautiful place with the nicest hosts.

Liked  · Our unit was perfect and the location just off the freeway easy to find. Plenty of nearby towns with shopping & restaurants and beaches nearby as well. Best of all were Peter & Alison who couldn't do enough for us. We'll be back!

‘A slice of paradise. The Figs Byron is nestled in a lush grove of trees and beautiful gardens. My apartment was beautiful: spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a secluded patio to enjoy the garden. It is a gem with lovely hosts.’ – Caroline

Heaven on Earth

If you are trying to reconnect with the nature, looking for peace, tranquility and a very relaxing time, you need to spend a few days at The Figs Byron. Other than the 5* accommodation, clean and spacious rooms, fully equipped bathrooms and kitchen, you will enjoy the most beautiful garden with hundreds of bromeliads, ferns, frangipani, nuts and other fruit trees. And last but not least, you will enjoy the company of your wonderful hosts, Alison and Peter, who will do everything they can to make your stay even more relaxing. There are plenty of other places to visit in the neighborhood but you will not want to go too far away from this oasis. Hope you will enjoy as much as we did! Elle & George
